Nikon CoolScan V

Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Currently 5.0/5.0

The Nikon CoolScan V is an incredible scanner, that may not be as versatile as other scanners, it is very high in quality. The Nikon CoolScan V is designed for all people who have albums upon albums of photographs and content and memories, and need to digitalize them and upload them onto their computer or laptop so they can view them digitally whenever they would like.

Separating the Nikon CoolScan V from other scanners, the Nikon CoolScan V instead scans negatives and slides, which results in stunning, high-resolution and high quality images that are gorgeous. Virtually everyone has photographs that they have had printed from a film camera in the past, that they don't want to disappear or be eaten up, and that they want to be to be able store digitally so they won't be forgotten. With the Nikon CoolScan V you can take all of your photographs, and store them digitally so that they are stored safely and kept away.

The Nikon CoolScan V has a 4,000 dpi, which if you know anything about scanners, is incredibly impressive. If you do end up scanning at such a large resolution, the images do end up being exactly that high of quality. One negative that happens to be scanned at the maximum dpi will result in 60 MB of space. It's amazing to be able to actually store every single possible photographic detail digitally, with every single color and detail is incredible, as well as convenient for people who are photographers for a living.

The scanner isn't too aesthetically pleasing - it's simply a large, chunky block with a big slot located in the front of the scanner. It also has slots for adapters, and has a slot for scanning in film.

Overall, the Nikon CoolScan V is an amazing scanner.
