I was looking for a luxury car. I thought of looking into BMW's 335i and the Mercedes c350. One of my friends asked me to test drive the 2010 Audi S4 before I made any decision regarding purchasing a car.
I found the 2010 Audi S4 to be extremely efficient in fuel and yet full of power. The car has a 3.0 supercharged 6 cylinder engine and, according to the specifications, this engine produces 333 HP and 325 lb of torque. I found the 2010 Audi S4 to be one of the quickest street cars I have ever driven and it compares well with the experience I had with the BMW m3 and the Mercedes c63 AMG. However, the 2010 Audi S4 was found to be significantly faster than the other two.
As all the other Audi models, the S4 is available only in the manufacturer's Quattro all-wheel drive system. Audi claims that the car takes 4.9 seconds to run from 0 to 60 MPH with either manual or automatic transmission. The car also has an added advantage of having much better fuel economy than the other similar cars.
As I was taking a test drive, the 2010 Audi S4 appeared to be a good mid-sized car with plenty of room in its cozy cabin. Like the A4, the 2010 Audi S4 has a superb interior design with a pleasant layout and the quality of material used is top-notch. The car has sport seats which is a unique design for this car. The seats have integrated headrests and are wrapped up in silk nappa leather. I was told that if I wanted I could have that leather in two tone contrast stitching.
As for the steering wheel and manual transmission shift, these were covered with two tone contrast stitched leather. The options which Audi offered for this car included heated and cooled front seats, a rear view camera and one Bang & Olufsen stereo system at 505 watt having 15 speakers.
The 2010 Audi S4 has a base price of roughly $50,000 and the estimated EPA fuel economy is 18 MPG in cities and 27 to 28 MPG in highways. A fully equipped Audi S4 would cost somewhere around $64,000.
