My friend read an article on this topic and asked for my feedback:

Reasons Why Good-looking People Have It Easier in Life

I agree with certain points and disagree with others. It's true that when you've never met someone, you tend to characterize him or her based on physical appearance, as that's all you have to go by. But I firmly disagree with the argument that attractive people are sometimes deemed more intelligent than the ostensibly nerdy kids. That would mean that even attractive cheerleaders and jocks on the football team are thought of as Einsteins, which seems far-fetched.

What do you think?

No.
Good looking people still get terminal cancer
Good looking people are victims of crime
Good looking people lose their children to accidents, disease and suicide
Good looking people get cheated on and divorced
Good looking people suffer crippling mental illness
Good looking people lose their jobs and homes in a financial crisis
Good looking people have ungrateful, spoiled children
Good looking people are killed or maimed in warzones.
Good looking people lose their faith in God.

The only people who have it "easier in life" are those who appreciate the blessings they receive in life, take nothing for granted and find happiness in what they have been given and what they can share with others.

Yes. They do. It's not a get-out-of-jail card, and it can work as a double-edged sword, but typically, yes. In every study I have seen, and in most interactions I have observed in the workplace.

That depends on who is "deeming" good looking people to be intelligent!

An intelligent person would not do that - would not use "looks" as an indication of IQ.

However someone "not so bright" might do so...

I've heard that. I suppose in some ways they do, but in other ways they may not, especially for women. Jealous women can put constant obstacles in another woman's way and if there are enough of them, they can make life really difficult even for a good-looking woman, but I don't think that's solely an attractive woman's problem.

Attractiveness is according to whomever is looking at that particular person. The perceived attractive person can and does still get mugged, raped, robbed, cancer, fired, make detrimental financial decisions, become a single parent, have an accident, get a chronic disease that disables them, and dies.

In the scope of being human one's looks can help in some areas but hinder in other areas.

I'm going to suggest this for a break-out session at our next GLP Convention

In a word, YES.
