There are friends and there are acquaintances

I have a close circle of lifelong friends and some of us are closer with one another but we have a strong close bond from early teenage years. We've talked about how grateful we are to have this close group of friends. I think anyone can make friends at any age but it is harder to make close friends when you get older.

I don't really have any fake friends, but know acquaintances.

And besides, if your friends are just being fake with you, then you can do the same and just be fake with them. I've gone out to places by myself sometimes, but at times I feel weird being alone somewhere.

And let's be honest, we live in a culture that looks down on people who are either introverted or loners. There's nothing wrong with being a loner/introvert, but generally speaking, society sees it as a negative thing.
Sure, I'll be honest about it.

I'm a loner and I have not noticed anyone looking down on me. Frankly if anyone did I wouldn't give a damn. Because if they do they are part of a culture I want no part of anyway.

But can a person have fake hair, fake nails, fake boobs but otherwise a pretty nice person, or a person that just loves to wear fake designer labels but otherwise a really good person, or a person who fakes that they like some of the things you like just to have something in common with you. It all depends on the level of fakeness I guess.
