I know a girl...if you told her the sky is blue she could disagree with you...even after taking her outside and showing her
I don't know what to call it
I don't want to call her stupid, because she went to a good school and had decent grades but seriously sometimes I wonder. It takes A LOT of patience being around her

Not necessarily. Many people are their opinions. Brush up against those opinions the wrong way, and the person feels their very personhood is being threatened.

Is your point about 1) risks of having children over the age of 40; 2) women with kids tend to demean women who don't have kids; 3) having kids provides an added layer of knowledge; 4) or something else???

It's possible that when you were with these women, you verbalized your point a lot better out loud than you are doing with the written word, in which case, why they missed your point is beyond understanding. However, if you speak like you write, I think I would be scratching my head. sorry, but I could not understand your point.

The above is the "good old fashioned communication" I am used to!

That is one person will say something, then the person listening will ASK FOR CLARIFICATION if they do not understand something. That asking for clarification is what is now lacking with many people.

It is good to say "I do not understand what you are saying"!

I wonder if it's the same person.
