Funny enough, every time I have taken it, including just now, I have been told I am an ISTJ. As a man, do you think that's particularly rare?

I know there has been a LOT written about the Myers Briggs personality theory and think it's an interesting piece of insight into one's personality though I wouldn't let it define you.

From what I know of ISTJs, it actually seems like more of a male personality than a female personality. I actually know a couple of confirmed ISTJ guys and the common thread they have is that they are dependable and traditional in how they see the world.

My favorite part of that link: "Logisticians are the least likely personality type to enjoy being approached by shop assistants while browsing." Oooh, they definitely know me.

Not rare. I am one also. It sure can make life tough though. Ugh. I'd rather be an ENTJ any day.

Nope - 10.5% of males.

But don't fall for the "rarer is better" thing. That's the whole reason that INTJ's are less than 1% of the general population but HALF the people online profess to it! Be whatever you are and forget the fake INTJs!
