Back to OP, what is a "mass killing"? Look at Chicago any weekend.
Most of you guys are missing the point. A mass shooting is where someone randomly targets innocent people in a public place. People who are not associated with him, not related to him, who he has never seen before in his life.
Other types of homicides involve targets who are known to the killer (rival gang members, the cheating spouse, etc). These are excluded from this discussion.
Would the DC sniper fall under the category or mass killer, or just serial killer...
There was also a black guy who shot up a factory in Kansas. And another one that shot up a church. I'm sure Google would yield plenty more.
But they didn't get much air time. Can't imagine why...
There was that Asian kid who shot up Virginia Tech. There was that Cuban kid Cruz who did him a shooting recently... but they called him white. Can't imagine why...
And several middle-easterners have also suffered from this 'caucasian sickness'

That is not necessarily accurate. For example:
Mass shootings at schools are often done by a student that has been bullied.
Mass shootings at workplaces are often done by a disgruntled employee.

Disagree with your statrment on school shootings. They're not always victims of bullying. They're often excluded and marginalised and isolated. They grow to loathe their peers for living the life they were denied so they want to take revenge. Such killers don't see people as human beings anymore, but the sources of all of their pain, loneliness and poisonous envy. It is more a case of real or imagined social exclusion than bullying. Victims of bullying tend to internalise their pain. I did / do.

He was referring to a much-hated 1890 book embraced by white supremacists that was banned for years after being condemned as sexist, racist and anti-Semitic.
So I'm killing time at work right now. Not gonna put in the effort (yet) to post the numbers. But the numbers are out there breaking down mass shooters by race. Feel free to google them up folks
What you'll find is that white people are (as usual) UNDER represented as perpetrators of mass shootings. And black people are (as usual) OVER represented.
Same trend... just not AS dramatic a difference as with murders in general, though still a pretty significant difference.
I'm not saying that black people are evil. I'm sure they have perfectly good reasons for murdering and raping so many people. But if ya'll are going to implicitly *lie* by singling out my own relatively peaceful and law-abiding demographic... then it's time to look at the facts.

I didn't say they were always the result of bullying. But I do agree with what you're saying.
My main point, though, was that the victims of mass shootings are sometimes known. Another poster had said:

Can you cite any statestics showing that poor white people are murdering at a similar rate to black people of a similar economic status? If not, then this is lazy speculation.
Studies of white immigrant groups showed that the initial, poor immigrant generation generally had much higher rates of homicide and other crimes compared to their economically successful grandchildren.

those of blacks living in the city." &c.
The paper goes on to discuss cultural, economic, social oppression, and other factors as a potential differentiating cause, then notes that more study is needed. The jury is still out on this, but clearly poverty is a factor.
