I used Home Depot a few years ago they did a great job and the price was right

There are MUCH cheaper places than HD or Lowes. Call a few granite places and get some estimates, you'll save about 50%.

Gosh no, the big box stores are not the cheapest. They outsource everything and simply take a % of pure profit.

At the time I got a price from HD on ubatuba granite that no one could touch..it was cheaper than laminate

ALWAYS recommended. The more bids the better. It also allows you to "feel out" the various companies. You will likely find some that you aren't comfortable dealing with.

GVM granieyt fort myers - he is charging less tha $30 psf way cheaper than anyone else that I know off. door refacing ???might be cheaper and better to fit new doors
