Hey everyone, I'm looking for an apartment for a friend in Charlotte county (prefer Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte). She is 19 and a college student. The area has to be safe and clearly not a 55+ community. Any options? Been searching on Zillow for weeks and getting very frustrated because we cannot find anything. Her budget is $900/mo max.

We don't have many apartment complexes in this area at all. There is Lakes of Tuscana in Port Charlotte off of Kings Highway. And there is Toledo Club Apartments in North Port which is just over the Charlotte County line. You might want to try condos such as Oaks III, Oak IV, Bimini Bay Club, Loveland Courtyards, Tala Lakes.
