One of the cool things is on Thursday nights they have acoustic music in Gilchrist Park along the harbor in Punta Gorda from 6-8. About 30 musicians were there tonight. In the gazebo they form a circle and each musician plays a song and than it's the next ones turn. We enjoyed ourselves listening to bluegrass, country. soft rock and originals. With a back drop of the harbor and a nice sunset it's awesome. Admission price=free.

Yep Searay as Jake said, acoustics is Thursday night. Tonight they had banjos, mandalins, big bass, harps and and lots of acoustic guitars. Good fun time and you walk to Hurricane Charlies.

Walking to HC's is the easy party, stumbling out, well that's another story

When we bought our house back in November we stayed at the Hotel there. We would stay on our balcony and listen to the music all night but I thought it was Friday nights. No wonder I have been missing them....its Thursday's. Dah....lol

We also stayed at that Hotel when visiting our son and grandchildren.Very good rates and service. They don't have it anymore but the free buffet breakfast was very good. They had some healthy choices for meals.
