Hello,

I would like to park my car and kayak trailer at Charlotte county boat ramps. Do I need a parking sticker for the car and trailer (1 each)?

I couldn't find an answer on this searching the forum or google in general.

If it's a dumb question keep comments to yourself unless they are really funny.

Thanks,

Mike

hey Mike, nutting funny on this one, sorry.
Just one for the car. Just make sure you park in the trailer parking area and you'll be fine and leave it hitched of course.
Are you going to pay to park or get one of the yearly stickers? We usually get the sticker. As much as we used it, wasn't worth the $$. However for ease of convenience, priceless! Especially at Englewood Beach on a Saturday am.

Default Sticker for sure

Hello,

I'll be getting the sticker for sure. It will be cost effective and convenient. I won't have to walk from the car to the pay station and then back to the car and back to the pay station (when I forget the parking spot number).

Thanks for the reply.

I find it odd your supposed to pay to park just to go to the park, at the beach complex. trailer parking ok, but just to watch the water . yet bayshore park is free

For Park complaints and information call 625-PLAY. They should be able to help you. They don't always answer the call, but they will call back if you leave a number.

The county has just invested in "new" parking meters for Port Charlotte Beach & Englewood Beach -- I think another couple parks, too, but I'm not sure which ones. The public has been complaining that they aren't working! BRAND NEW!

For all the ill will and frustration the old and new meters cost people, I believe parking should be FREE.

There are two beaches on Manasota Key with large parking lots where you can park for free.
