What about a marine salvage yard? I did a quick search...unfortunately, the closest I found was up in Clearwater. Another idea would be to call some marinas and see if they have any leads.

Charlotte County has some form of boat disposal, can't remember the details off the top of my head. Call Charlotte County, check with code enforcement or utilities.

the landfill on kimal road in punta gorda, just remove all the fluids. you can slide the boat off the trailer with there help with the loader. and if I remember their was a fee.

Looks like $36 per ton, plus maybe (?) a $50 "Special Handling" charge. That's from the county's Zemel Road dump website.
