I understand your pain. Completely. This kind of event is one of the hardest things we have to endure. Just remember that hour pal had a life where she was loved and cared for. That's all our animals ask of us, and they give back so much more.

That is so true. It does indeed feel just like that. And even when you do know that you're not alone, it doesn't do much to take away the broken heart. =(

My condolences on the loss of your beloved pet. My little Blondie, and Xaxu, and Wenzel, and Mycah, and all my little rats, and my bird, and my fish, and my guinea pig, and the bunnies I had, and the cat we had growing up, and our dog we had when I was little, Pokey, and all the other little pets I've met and cared for along the way, that are now gone, will all be there to welcome your little pet at the Bridge.

Thanks so much all of you. My heart goes out to everyone who's lost a fur baby, and I'm glad that I'm not alone with this pain. Btw-I was going to try to reply to each response to my post, but right now I'm worn out from lack of sleep. I still appreciate each of you and hope to post on the board more often soon.
