Primary Care Physician/NP/PA for Uninsured (Raleigh, Durham: health insurance, homes)

I'm looking for a primary care physician or np/pa in or around Durham, but with the catch that I don't have insurance that provides coverage in NC. So, ideally, I'd like someone who isn't too terribly expensive, and won't make me feel like a leper for not having insurance coverage.

I'd recommend Lincoln Community Health Center.

I know many of the docs and PA's personally and they are terrific.

I think a lot of places will negotiate with you, but I'd second looking at Lincoln if you are closer to Durham. Wake Health Services in Raleigh is also a community health center.
