I think there is some good commercial space off Lake Boone Trail and Six Forks north of 440 that would be good for a French place.

You should consider the Brier Creek area, near the Raleigh airport. We have several possible locations in this neighborhood for a restaurant/cafe. There is a mix of folks with large disposable income who enjoy that type of food.
