Looking for new home neighborhoods in Cary/Apex/Holly Springs between $200 & $300k with at LEAST 1/3 acre of land per lot. More land = better. Must have first floor master plans available. Seems to be a difficult combination, can anyone help?

Are you looking for brand new? The new homes that are currently being built seem to have much less land than some of the older ones.

If older is ok, how about Cotswold? Holly Glen?

Brand new is preferred, up to 5 years old is okay. Anything over 1500 sq. ft. is fine, 3+ bedrooms. I feel like I've seen everything that might be an option, but am hoping that maybe there is a neighborhood I just overlooked. We've looked at Holly Glen and that is certainly an option but are really hoping to be able to build something brand new.

Have you looked at Avocet in Holly Springs? It's right down the road from Holly Glen. It's a brand new Bill Clark subdivision.

They have a nice 4 bed/3 bath home listed now (brand new) that has a 1st floor master. It's on .26 acres but you may be able to build new on a different/larger lot.

Centex built a model that had a first floor master. I have seen this floor plan in Brookstone in Cary and Coventry in Cary. There are quiet a few neighborhood off of Olive Chapel Road that would have homes in this price range and possibly a downstairs master. Scotts Mill in Apex would also have homes in this price range, but probably not on a 1/3 an acre. The difficulty may be more of the lot size than then downstairs master. Some homes may have a small lot size but back up to an easement or greenway. Possibly broaden the lot size and see what happens. The neighborhoods that I have listed are 10 years old or older. Newer construction is going to have small lot sizes unless you get farther out, at least Holly Springs if not further. Good Luck.

Vintage Pointe Community in Holly Springs currently has 2 homes meeting your description. One has .48 acres and the other .63 acres. The MLS #'s are 1738181 and 1738178. Good luck! They are both in the lower $200's.
