Does anyone have any recommendations for someone who can do a good hair cut for rather unmanageable curly hair (in the Cary area)? I'm not much into the trendy salons that are the usual yelp recommendations, and though I like my current stylist, we seem to be struggling to find a cut that I like.
I don't need the head massages and perks....just looking for someone who can do a decent layering job in the 35-55 range.
Thanks for any help!

Kelsie at Tanas off Cary Parkway. I believe it's $45 now. I went to her for a couple years and she is great!

Thank you, both! I'm more on the Raleigh/Cary border, but I'll probably give both a call and see who can fit me in. I'm so grateful for the info here on CD - everything from HVAC to haircuts!

Christie at Hair Waves in downtown Cary on Academy. My only disclaimer with her is that if you want a cut, you get a CUT. We've come to an understanding between the two of us that when I ask for a "hair cut", I really mean a trim and shape up layers. Otherwise she seems to take off more than I expected. But ever since we got that cleared up, we're good

Susane at Samson and Delilah. I've been seeing her about 5 years and love her. I have crazy curly hair and she's the only one I found in Raleigh that can give me a decent hair cut at a great price. She's off of Falls of Neuse/Strickland in North Raleigh (919) 518-0699.
