Is anyone else noticing a high rabbit population this year? At any given time, there are two or more in our yard. (Insert joke here.)

Seems like a bumper crop of rabbits this year. I usually see at least 6-8 every evening when I walk my dog around our neighborhood. And that's just the ones munching on grass and visible.

Not a one

Lots of outdoor cats in my neighborhood. No chipmunks either, and the baby birds are often doomed.

Fewer foxes = more bunnies.

Quite a few rabbits in my area also. The annuals implanted in the front bed seem especially tasty to them this year as well. Made it maybe 2 weeks before they were all gone.

I think my neighbor's outdoor cat is keeping the bunnies away. I need to dress her up in the costume of something bigger so maybe she'll scare the deer away, too. They're doing a number on our plants this year.

Yes but we also have a pet rabbit that we let outside some so I wonder if they're drawn to that scent. We do have an indoor/outdoor cat but he doesn't care about rabbits (probably because he will cuddle with ours) and focuses on voles and birds.

They stay out of our yard since my dog got one of the babies a couple years ago (yes, it was awful). I usually only see them at dusk but saw one yesterday morning.
