Does anyone know of any stores in the area where we can find a large selection of 8x10 area rugs? We are looking for something between traditional and modern. We have already looked at lowes, home depot and Thad's Carpet One with no luck

We've bought two area rugs from Caravan Rugs on US70 near Ebenezer Church Rd. They have a fairly wide selection of different styles and price points, but be prepared to pay more per sq ft than a big box retailer will charge.

Yeah, Ollie's has some nice ones. Homegoods carries some nice ones too (Brier Creek, Southpoint, and Beaver Creek).

JC Penney. You can check them out online, but you can get great deals in the store. I saw one I liked on their web site, but decided to go to the store to see it in person. When I did, it was on clearance for $40.

We have had good luck at Capels - we usually have gone on a sale weekend, so I found their prices reasonable. I like them b/c most of the rugs are hanging so it is easy to view them.

Ask them where their sale or close out rugs are when you first go in, so you look at them first! I got one for my bedroom at a crazy low price - a cotton/linen blend and I think it was $39 or some such. I wasn't even shopping for my BR but I couldn't resist!

I recently bought area rugs for my new townhome. I found everything I needed at Tuesday Morning on Creedmore Road at crazy low prices!
