Well, my husband and I left our children with my parents and came to North Carolina for a week right after the 4th of July. I spent so much time driving (about 12 hours a day) that I do not want to drive anywhere now that I am home.
After all our research, we wanted to see N.C. in person. It was wonderful. Out of the numerous areas we drove through and stopped at, we still think Cary is a good choice for us. I was extremely happy with the neighborhoods of Camden Forest and the Woods of Silver Creek. Can anyone comment on these areas or offer other suggestions? We are in a development in C.A. that mimics the the Briar Creek development in Raleigh, which is what I don't want. I want trees, a home in an established neighborhood 10+ years, with a lot big enough to not hear my neighbors' dinner conversation, but still close enough for my children to have friends.
Also, I am a teacher and it seems I won't have too much trouble finding employment (our house is still on the market and I've signed my contract so it looks like our move will be at the end of the 08/09 school year) but we are concerned about my husband's employment prospects. He is currently a General Manager of an automobile dealership and his income is greater than 150k, if there is anyone that can comment about the automobile sales industry in the Raleigh/Cary area I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
