We are intending to relocate in a couple of years and someone on the main forum mentioned Charlotte and the Raleigh areas. I am a tai chi and qigong teacher and want to open an alternative health clinic. What are the best areas for this and why, if you don't mind me asking. What about Asheville?
I'm sure most of the larger cities, Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, Asheville, Chapel Hill, and others...will have decent amount of possible customers for such an endeavor. Especially in the urban cores of those cities (ie, downtowns) where people are more likely to be interested in it.
I just picked up a free publication called Natural Triad and it focuses on such practices in the Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point area. I am new to the state and I have to admit was a bit surprised (pleasantly) to see there was such an industry here. Now, I have no idea if there is a demand and if there is a strong customer base, but the publication was interesting and it included lots of advertising for alternative medicine.
