we have a well and im not going to run it dry to fill a pool LOL

i got in touch with a guy out in creedmore who does it - quoted me about $150, which seems reasonable I guess.

What's the static level, depth, and gpm of your well? Being that your pool will only require ~3000 gal. of water I think you'd be fine using your well if it's not less than 3gpm.

i probably could, but its a community well, and i try to think about the impact i COULD have on my neighbors. the last thing i want is 20 families without water because i wanted to fill my kids pool LOL. rather pay to have it filled, then just top it off with the hose as needed....

I understand your concern but I will say that since you are on a community well 3000 gallons won't put a dent in the reserve tank since a multi-family well has to have at least a 50gpm refill rate. You really would be fine using your hose.

Did you try calling the water department of the nearest town that has city water?
If they don't provide it directly, they should be able to give you the name of someone who does transport bulk potable water to/for contractors (filling tankers that spray down road work etc.)

Call Four C's Hauling. They are located in the Garner area and deliver pool water all over the Triangle. I don't think they will bring you less than 6,000 gallons (thats considered a truck load and the max they can carry). If you pool is 12' x 3' Deep, then you will need 4,510 gallons. I think they charge $275 for a truck.
