Where is a place to donate used toys in or around Apex? We have a ton of toys that I'd like to donate somewhere.

There's a Goodwill place on Hwy 55 across from Beaver Creek, I bet they will take them.

I'd call first. There are fairly recent regulations that prevent certain organizations from taking some toys. If the larger charitable groups won't take them, you may find a church or preschool that can use them.

The Healing Place donation center in Millpond Village has taken all the toys I've donated. They are at Ten Ten and Kildaire Farm.

Thanks for the suggestion twingles. I did call them and they unfortunately do not take any toys.

You could try:

Guardian Angel Thrift - Home

They have a drop off location in the Fresh Market shopping center (SW Cary Parkway & Waldo Rood, not far from Apex).

If you don't find a place to donate them, you could always give them away via Freecycle.

You can try consigning them at Kid 2 Kid in Beaver Creek.

Dorcas Dorcas Ministries

They stopped taking toys for a while, but last I knew they are taking them again.
