The Triangle feels fairly cosmopolitan to me. I thought it would be fun to see how many nationalities/nations of origin are represented here.

1) Where were you born and raised?
2) When did you arrive in the US?
3) Where do you live in the Triangle Metro?

Me:
1) London, England
2) 2002
3) Downtown Cary, NC

I'm a Raleigh native but my husband is from India. He became a US citizen 2 years ago! We also live in downtown Cary! Snowpea, we should meet for coffee one day!

I'm an American, but I mention my husband's experiences & opinions a lot, so here's the details on Mr. Steel.
1. Originally from various parts of England but mainly Sheffield.
2. Arrived in US in late 2004
3. Currently living in southern Durham

My next door neighbor and his wife are from Scotland. (Don't ask me the name of the town, it sounds like something out of "Lord of the Rings" ). They moved here a few years ago. He is a professor at a local college.
