Does anyone know of any cheaper airport parking rates? And if so, how to get there? Maybe a parking lot with a shuttle to the airport? I heard there was one close to the airport but I couldn't find any directions to get to it online. I saw that airport parking at the actual airport is $10 a day. I'm hoping I can find something cheaper than that. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with the parking lots?
I second Fast Park & Relax. My husband & I use them all the time and at something like $4 a day it is a lot less expensive than parking at the airport. They are located near the intersection of Lumley/Glenwood, diagonally across from Angus Barn.
(link name not withstanding - this is *not* onsite RDU parking)
Make sure you bring the coupon or its not much cheaper than RDU

We have used this place a couple times and had good experiences - yes, use the coupon. Making a reservation is a good thing in case they fill up. Once they didn't have a spot for us in the uncovered (which I believe we'd reserved) and bumped us up for free to the covered parking.
Another vote for Fast Park and Relax! Outdoor but covered parking, less than $4/day. Just a few mins from the airport and the 3 times I've used them, there's been a shuttle waiting in the lot that drove up to my car as I park (which I think is standard service).
They even hook you up with a free cold bottled water on your way out when you get home. Sure beats the $21/day parking I had to pay up in White Plains!
Another vote for Fast Park and Relax. I've used them a few times and they have been great. The shuttle picks you up and drops you off AT YOUR CAR. You can't beat it.

They have my vote, as well! When you get back to the airport and you call them, they are there as soon as you get your luggage. Very clean shuttle and very friendly drivers. Great customer service. And...yes...free bottled water as you drive out of the lot!
I also use Fast Park. In addition to the perks mentioned above, you also get a free car wash. Just go through it before you pay on your way out.
