What a performance by Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats last night against a highly regarded Duke basketball team that many (well, except all you Tarheels out there) thought would repeat as National Champs.

Herb Sendak should be proud of his protege and former assistant coach at NC State. Sean Miller has done an amazing job of re-building the Arizona basketball program in the post Lute Olson era - and in 2 short years, no less!

I know it's not too smart giving props to a Pac 10 team while deep in the heart of ACC country. Since moving out to Raleigh, we've adopted State as our team to support. Things have been rough for NC State basketball during the post Sendak/Sid Lowe years. Hopefully, we'll see things turn around soon!

He's done a fabulous job. I think they picked the right person to follow Lute Olson.

Indeed he has! He's definitely got a knack for recruiting, which is key. Hope he finds continued success at Arizona. As they say, success breeds success.

Now, if only we can get a Captain who'll right the ship at State...hmm....

Shouldn't this be in the Arizona forum?

I'm only posting here because I like your username. Is that a Tosh reference?

You never know...did you read Coach K's lips at the end of the game?
"Nice job, congratulations...stay in Tucson..."

All you Tarheels are so self centered...if it doesn't have anything to do with Carolina, well then, let's banish it to the desert!

Just giving a little credit to a former NC State "alum" that's done well for himself, that's all...(well, maybe not entirely all...)

Thx. Few reasons. Dad was very into Louis Jordan. Great song, great message. Also, nicknames for the kiddos.

I hope State finds their Captain too, just not ours.
In all seriousness though, I would hope that a move wouldn't be considered so soon after taking over. That would mean 5 coaches in 6 years for Arizona! No way!
