I was told yesterday that the plaza near the new Walmart, is actually filling up quickly.... pretty exiciting all these new things in Holly Springs, some of the new places will be a smoothy place, nail salon, another coffee shop, pizza (of course) Sprint (or some other wireless), and there were many more but I can't remember.

Outback and a trip to Holly Springs from Clayton is just well silly. Throw some burgers on your grill cut up an onion and deep fry the thing get some thousand Island dressing and enjoy at home for a third the price!

Just what we need another nail place, man how do they all make money?

I wonder that myself - I think Apex has five or something. Between that and mattress stores.. at least you get your nails done a lot more often than you buy a new mattress!

I've not been impressed with Outback the last few times I went (the one in Cary, and back in Virginia). With all the competing steakhouse chains out there, I think there are better places to go.

Outback to me was a lot better years ago, it seems to have gone downhill.

Woohoo!!

I love Outback. We used to get takeout from there a lot, but now we live so far from the Cary or Garner location that it would be cold by the time we got home with it. That is good news. I'm looking forward to have somewhere else to go shopping. Fuquay or Cary is where we end up now, but it will be nice to have something a bit closer.

Thumbs up Out Back Steaks

Well, myself, I love an Out Back steak dinner.

I go to the meat counter and pick up a couple of Angus beef porterhouses, or ribeyes in the 8 to 10 oz. range.
Sweetie puts a couple of Idaho's best spuds into the oven and I fire up the grill Out Back.
I let the grill get good an hot while I rub those steaks down with the secret herbs an spices and a fist-full of pepper.
I go Out Back and slap that meat on the grill and sear both sides and then let it cook itself while I set the table.
Couple of flips and in 15 minutes or so, depending on the thickness of the cuts, I come in from Out Back and put two sizzling steaks on the plates.

A dash of a cheap merlot, and I'm in Out Back heaven.
Hmmm. Maybe Sunday!

And that other version of Outback will be a nice addition for Holly Springs too.

There is an Outback on 70 going towards Garner. Why go to HS?
