keeping in mind that delivery will be to Clayton, where would you recommend shopping for a master bedroom set and bunkbeds?

What quality are you expecting? Particleboard held together with staples, or solid wood with dovetail joints?

I hate to admit this, but I got the BEST bunkbeds at BJs -- solid pine in a honey finish. I got the mattresses at the original mattress factory (no box spring, just 'bunk boards'). at the time, the bunk bed set was $149 or something totally outrageous. so...I spent more on the mattresses than I did the bunk bed.

I was in the furniture business for 15 yrs and sold mid to high end solid wood furniture. I have shopped Whitley’s and was treated horribly by the salesperson. I gave them a second chance and was less impressed the second time. We ended up making the trek to Furnitureland South and they were competitively priced and had a
Large selection of low end to high end.

A quality bunkbed made of solid hardwood will be in the $799 to $999 price range. Although it has been 5 yrs since I sold my business and we sold American made vs
today’s imports.

people have made the comments "make the trek to Furnitureland South". How far is it from Clayton and will they deliver to Clayton?

It's on the outskirts of High Point, a little south of Greensboro/Winston Salem. It would probably take you about 2 hours to drive there. Make a day trip of it.

They deliver all over the US. We've bought furniture from them twice and had it delivered to Dallas TX.

We're getting ready to buy a new dining room table and chairs and will probably buy it there.
