My boyfriend and I are moving to this area at the end of July. We have a very limited budget and I am concerned about finding a place to rent (I am really picky). We are not looking for student housing but for something catered more towards young couples. Anyone have any ideas? Right now, we are gearing more towards 1/1 apartments close to Raleigh.
Where will your work/school be? What other things do you want to be near (such as nightlife) or don't care? The Triangle and even Raleigh is a big area--the more you can narrow it down, the better.

agreed. also, what's your budget? it's difficult to know what is affordable to you since that depends on your budget.
well, we are looking to spend around 600 or 650 per month on rent. if it includes some utilities or cable, we can spend a little more. it HAS to have a washer and dryer included though. help!

You STILL haven't said where you will be working/in school or what part of the Triangle you need to be near.
Give up the washer/dryer thing. Find a place that has connections so you can rent/buy at some point, but suck it up and go the laundromat once a week, or the laundry room at whatever complex you choose. Just saying... that will make your search much better. Do check the link I gave you in a previous post- fits in perfectly price wise (actually can come in as much as $100 lower which can help you rent/save for w/d), location is great, and I never had a problem w/ neighbors or staff.
