Can anyone advise on Nursing (LPN) opportunities in RTP. I know in my my area now, the salary varies from $14 too $26 for hospital, long term care, rehab, not sure what what home health is paying. There are great facilities here and other not so good. Just hoping someone there can advise on where are the best places for LPN's in RTP. Thanks Sooo much for any Info

RTP (Research Triangle Park) is a large business park with its own zip code.

Do you mean the Triangle area?

Where specifically will you be living (it's a very spread-out metro) and why are you relocating of not for a job?

LPN salaries are on the lower range here and there is no shortage of nurses looking for jobs. I'm not telling you this to discourage you, I just want you to be prepared for the reality of the situation here. Start applying now and don't give up. Try home health or a doctor's office/clinic. Those will be your best bets to get started here.

Not sure about the Triangle, but nursing homes, drug rehab, and nurses at the jail earn between $16 and $23 per hour depending on the shift and experience. These are all LPN positions btw.

North Raleigh has many medical facilities. We live off of Durant Road and are 5 mins to several hospitals and quick care places. My understanding is there are nursing shortages so I would think you would have options.
