I am confused on the laws here in the Raleigh, NC area about Metal Detecting. It is a new hobby of mine. I have been out about a dozen times. I was told I could go to Milllbrook Exchange Park but a policeman watched me for a half hour-maybe he was on his lunch break. I didn't dig any grass. I was in the playground when no one was there and 95 degrees and the basketball court. Found .27 cents.
Any suggestions on where to go??? Thank you very much~a forum newbie.
