My company is sponsoring a game for the team this coming Aug. 25 (vs. Charlotte Knights). I'm not really a baseball fan, but I figured this could be a great opportunity for me to try to practice shooting in that kind of lighting
Is there a restriction on the kind of camera/lens you could take with you? I found something in their website and it stated that you can bring your camera and can shoot as long as it's for personal use only. It didn't specify much on the camera type though. I'm planing to take a 70-200 lens...

Thanks...

I don't think it would be a problem. They don't rummage through your bag when you enter and the employees all seem quite friendly and laid back. Perhaps you should give them a call just to be sure?

THey are pretty low key there, so I dobt it would be an issue. I see people there all teh time with SLRs and pretty big lenses, some look like 800MM or so Canon white models and they did not seem to be press people.

Thanks everyone... I'm looking forward to it, though 70-200 might not be enough, but I'll try

Durham Bulls ball park isn't exactly Yankee Stadium. You could probably fill the frame with an outfielder at 100mm lol.

no problem...I might be exaggerating a little bit, but you will definitely get good shots with a 200mm.
