Is there anyone who was dumb enough like me to wait until the last minute to try to find flashlights?? I've been to walmart and grocery stores. I think I'm just going to call around places and see if they have them before i make a trip there. If anyone is out and about and sees flashlights for sale can you post where you found them?
Thankssss in advance...
I worked 12 hours on Mon, Tues, Wed...so didn't have time to go.

If you can't find them at Home Depot or Lowes, try some off the wall place...Dollar Tree? Rite Aid? Seems like everyplace has flashlights...hard to believe they'd all be sold out.
I just got some at Target. I went for some extra batteries. They didn't have D batteries, but had right many flashlights with batteries. Flashlights, and electric lanterns.
If you have the option, go for LED flashlights and lanterns. the low power consumption allows for less batteries and the batteries last a lot longer. Another FYI..I found that a mini-mag flashlight produces enough light to light up our smallest full bath for showering if you play around with setting it up properly. That's a room with no windows too! So, don't necessarily look for the large flashlights when the smaller ones can get you by.

The ten small LED lights in a $9.95 blister pak at HD are one of the best values around.
If they are in stock.
Ace Hardware but I bet even grocery stores have them.
