Internet Provider Options for 27617 (Raleigh: zip code, price, area)

Can anybody recommend internet providers for the 27617 zip code area of Raleigh? Currently have AT&T and pay $65 a month, but I am very unhappy with the speed and service. Use to have Time Warner Cable and Internet, loved the speed, service, and price. Now I have switched to DirecTV so Time Warner is not an option. Can anybody suggest another internet provider and the monthly price for the 27617 zip code of Raleigh? Thanks.

You can have Time Warner Roadrunner internet without subscribing to their cable service - my family does. Other folks speak highly of EarthLink which technically is run by TWC but I believe is slightly cheaper.

why not just get TWC internet? Its $35 a month. Don't need to get their tv or phone packages.

Hulu + Netflix + TW Internet = $50 a month

TW Internet + TW TV = $177 a month for the same damn thing

Yep, look for Earthlink....TWC under Earthlink name. I have that in 27615. 29.95 for 6 months and then 41.95.
