Our piano is in desperate need of a good tuning but I don't know who to call. Also how much should I expect to pay? It has been almost 3 years and a big move since we had it tuned.

My parents used to use Tony Thompson to tune their piano. He is a local (Raleigh) jazz musician and keyboardist who used to also tune pianos to make some extra money. I am not sure if he still does piano tuning but you could certainly try him. If he doesn't tune pianos anymore I am sure he could point you in the right direction of someone who can. Sorry, I have NO idea about the price. Here is a link to his website.

I had my piano tuned a few years ago and it was about $75-100.

I had Danny Moses tune my piano last summer, and he was wonderful - very personable and knowledgeable. He tunes many of the pianos over at Duke. The price was very reasonable: $75.
