Rocky Top's Red Room tapas lounge to close - Triangle Business Journal

"The Red Room tapas lounge restaurant in downtown Raleigh will be shutting its doors at the close of business on Dec. 31."

I prefer Cuban revolution for tapas menu although I enjoyed the Red Room the one time I did go.

Ate there for the last time on Monday. I am VERY sad to see it go. My waitress told me that another venture wanted the space and made a sweet offer to Rocky Top to not renew. Of course, that's totally a hearsay rumor.
The other thing I heard was that the partners in Rocky Top split and that's part of the reason for the turmoil in the organization. But, then again, who knows???

According to Dean Ogan's twitter account it does look like it will be a new venture there as he said he was not sure what was going on there next when asked.

I'm sad about that because I was a fan! Great food and nothing you can get elsewhere in the Triangle.

Havana Grill has salsa nights. Forget which day of the week it falls on. Try giving them a call
