Can anyone recommend a dermatologist in Cary, Morrisville or Durham? I have never been to one but looking for one that is affordable.

I've gone to Cary Dermatology Center - Welcome, but I can't speak to their affordability since I have BC/BS insurance. I've been happy with them, in any event.

I have gone to Dr. Bressler in Durham. But like the other poster I have insurance so I am not sure how affordable he is. It's worth giving him a call.

My husband saw Dr. Oyler and we were unimpressed. His issues remained unresolved. However, he only went once, so it could be a case of needing to see her a couple of times to figure out the issue. I take my daughters to Dr. Patel at NC Dermatology Associates in Brier Creek and he seems pretty good. Our ped. had diagnosed her with one skin condition, and what she suggested (eucerin--she suggests it for virtually every skin problem) didn't work--it burned her skin! He took one look at it, said it was eczema, and fixed her right up!

I liked Dr. Briley at Dermatilogy Pros, link below. I had insurance, however, I paid $100 to have 7-8 skin tags removed same day. It was not covered by insurance. By the way, they are in Raleigh.

Dr. Ghate is excellent. All physicians in this practice are women. Blue Ridge Dermatology. Close to Rex Hospital. Between Rex and Crabtree Valley Mall.

Thanks for the information. I had my first appointment with him yesterday. He was great! It took him 5 minutes to come in to see me. Within seconds, he knew what condition I had. He wrote me a prescription and it has been working in less than 24 hours. I plan to follow up with him in a month. Excellent service!!!
