Also May and October are huge wedding months in this area. Probably because those are the only months you have a decent guarantee of nice outdoor weather without everyone sweating every ounce of fluid out of their bodies lol.
There was this beautiful castle that I wanted to have our reception at: Castle McCulloch. My parents thought it was too far from Raleigh and that no one would attend. I can't remember the price, but I thought it was very affordable 2 years ago.
I'm looking for a place to hold my wedding ceremony/ reception in the raleigh area or within 1-2 hours away.
A few years ago, I went to a wedding & reception at Highgrove Estates, just outside Fuquay. The outdoor area for the ceremony is really nice. The reception was spread over the house and another outdoor area. No idea on cost. Highgrove Estate | Wedding Venue in North Carolina
Pretty sure that Vollmer Farms in Bunn does events, but not sure if they do weddings. May want to look into it.
