We have been looking to rent in Cary but from the posts, Apex looks just as appealing. Is this right? You pay more for the the Cary zipcode but could share the same schools?

Anyone knows anything about Perry Farms in Apex? Safe division?

You could share some of the same schools.

If you find something at your price point, I would few or no misgivings about renting in Perry Farms.

I sold a house in The Park At West Lake that had an Apex address. A year later, same house has a Cary address.

I sold a house in Cotswold. It had an Apex address. Today it has a Cary address.

I sold a house in Scot's Laurel. As you drive down Kildaire Farm Road, its Cary. You pass the sign that says "Welcome to Holly Springs" and then you come to Scot's Laurel. It has an Apex address.

If you can tell where Apex starts and Cary begins, you are doing much better than I am, after 30 years!!!

Vicki

I have a co-worker who lives in Perry Farms. This is a small neighborhood with small homes on relatively small lots. It is a modest community, but those who live there seem to take relatively good care of their homes. There are no sidewalks within the community itself, but it does not get a particularly large amount of traffic travelling within it--just those who live there or their guests. The neighborhood is really close to Apex Elementary School and its playgrounds. There is also a soccer field nearby. The subdivision has good access to Route 1, which will get you to Raleigh relatively quickly. If you need to get to RTP, though, you must travel through Apex on 55 (which can get congested when it narrows to one lane as it cuts through Apex).
