I think you're spot-on here TuborgP. Seemingly random Wake re-assignment was a great equalizer for the past several years, but they're losing their grip (WCPSS just recently announced raising their F&S lunch ratio target to 50%...and they're currently closer to 65% in some schools). Further, both Wake and Durham school admins and boards have become ineffective, political and unresponsive to their constituents...much like Atlanta and Meck.

I agree with you in general but there are plenty of people who took out sub prime loans these past few years who NEVER should have gotten credit in the first place. Lenders created the problem and many agents and buyers were all too happy to go along or the ride.
