Just moved to Brier Creek from Phoenix and I need a haircut. I keep my hair short and it gets cut quite often, so price does become a factor. Also, it grows quickly so that beautiful, perfect haircut I paid I paid bucko bucks for on Wednesday looks less than perfect by next Tuesday. I prefer to pay for a GOOD haircut rather than a GREAT haircut, and priced accordingly.

Suggestions, please?

I usually go to the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill. Not particularly close to Brier Creek but you can't really beat a $15 haircut for women and they do a great job. Plus it gives you an excuse to stop by A Southern Season on your way home

Salon Blu is a good spot- slightly on the more expensive side but not crazy.

Brilliant idea, Evan! I never heard of A Southern Season, but after googling it, I gotta get down there!!!! (note my member name - I used to own a gourmet gift basket business).

A Southern Season is one of my favorite places around here! And I feel you about the short haircuts. That's why I started going to Aveda. I couldn't justify spending $40 every few weeks!

not sure what Blo charges, but I do know they're very good, they're in BC and I do know they support the coomunity through fundraising efforts.

My wife goes to Blo in Brier Creek. The rates seem to vary a bit by stylist but she pays $50. Other stylists there may be less - but probably still in the $40 range.

You should try the guy I see near RTP. He has frequent cutter cards - buy seven get one free !

Not sure what a good vs. great price for you would be, but I go to Tanas on Leesville Rd. and have had very good experiences.

Blo is awesome although it's not exactly cheap. So is A Southern Season...I could spend a whole day in that place.
OP, you will be in heaven in that store!
