I need to hire a company to transport my car from Long Island to Durham. Anyone have any recommendations or good experiences?

Thanks so much!

Wayne Carini always uses "Precious Metals" in the episodes that I've noticed.

I'll have to see if my parents can remember who they used. It was a place in Commack if I remember correctly.

Wouldn't it make more sense to post on the Long Island board, since that's the starting destination?

How many people who live on Long Island will have shipped their car to North Carolina??? That makes no sense whatsoever.

The best way I know is to let the professionals actually bid on the job. This site will give you a reference starting point then the shippers will actually bid on the job which decreases the cost for you. Lots of info on the home page of how it works.

TONS!

Just like when you move home furnishings, start with the departure location. THEY will be the one loading the car. Francois has it exactly right.
