I just need a storage space for a month, two tops (nothing past 2012), only the size of a fairly large walk-in closet or so.

Recommendations?

Not sure where you are but I use North State Storage on 64 in East Raleigh and I have been very happy with them. Prices were the lowest among those I considered. It seems secure, the staff (which may be one lady for the most part) are very nice. They just direct bill my credit card each month so it is easy. I have had it for several months and have not had any issues or price increases. They also email me my bill each month for a record which is handy. I didn't have to sign any contracts, cancel anytime.
