Hi,

I'm thinking of moving my 3 yr. old into a new daycare center and was wondering if anyone had a recommendations for daycare centers in North Raleigh (specifically in the Brier Creek thru Leesville rd. area).

I've called Lil Pros on Leesville Rd. but there is a waiting list to get in, so I would guess that's a good thing and plan to take a tour next week. Any other good options that I may be missing?

Thanks for any help.

I think it really comes down to them having "chapel" one day a week. I don't think it's really a bible focused pre-school. I had kids there for 4 years, and religion was never an issue. It's a privately run school, that just happens to be at a church.

It was VERY convenient for us, location wise, and came highly recommended. One parent spoke up one day at a function and asked if any families actually attended church there, and only one person said yes, they had tried it. I don' think many, if any actually do.

The staff there are fantastic. Our kids loved it.

I will add, they DO say grace before eating, etc. But it's not overpowering, if that makes sense.

Gotcha. His last preschool was not in a church and they said a little prayer thing before lunch. They just sang "Thank you father for our food, for our many blessings, amen."

There is a Primrose school on Hilburn Drive (just off Lynn and Glenwood) that is just a mile or two further down. Have a friend who sent her child there and liked it a lot (ie she brought her child all the way down from Creedmoor in Granville County). There is also a Spanish for fun! Immersion School on Glenwood (between Pinecrest and Lynn Rds on Glenwood).

Thanks! Didn't know about Soapstone, I'll look into it and I know Primrose has a good reputation overall.
