Looks to be a new sign on Kemps seafood..Louise and Charlie or Louise and Jimmy...I drove fast so I could not read.

That place needed a change. I went in there over the summer and it was a terrible experience both food and service. I hear it used to be the best fish place around then they change the service style.

Makes sense. I went there only one time and it was just me and one other diner. There are much better options in the area as far as I'm concerned.

Kemps was the best in the area before they changed their serving style. Don't know what happened to their reputation.

I went there two years ago after a friend recommended it. The food wasn't good and we never went back.

That is sad. It was fun to go there.

Years ago, it was good. I had broiled seafood.

I can remember going with my parents about 6 years ago and it was mobbed. We had to wait 1.5 hours and the food was great. We have gone back on occassion but stopped going once they changed their serving style...it just never tasted as good. Funny how things change.

That's too bad. We liked going out to Kemp's for fried seafood. We were out there not long ago, and they were in the process of remodeling including the addition of a sports bar

We used to like Kemp's as well several years ago. Yes, once upon a time, it was constantly packed.

But I agree with many here ... something happened the last time we went, which was a few years ago. Well, a few things.

We thought the prices were a little steep, and the food was "meh". The service wasn't the greatest, either.

So I'm not terribly surprised.

Thats too bad! We liked Kemps too and I never ate the fried fish. We definitely liked the atmosphere before they made all those changes...thats too bad.
