I would love to hear people's opinion on this who have been there before. (I'm assuming they've held this previous years). We are hoping to take our kids (17, 14 & 12) to the evening portion of it. I've been to one before in Maryland and it was a lot of fun - very family friendly, no alcohol, etc. It's advertised as arts-based and family friendly. Someone just told me that there are a lot of drunk people there and it's not very fun in the evening. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a drink (or three) but I really don't want to hang out with my kids around a bunch of drunk people if the Raleigh one tends to attract a larger party crowd. I'd love to hear feedback and input. Thanks!

It just depends on what the venue and the time. Many venues do have wine provided by a server but I wouldn't call it a party atmosphere.

I do find that as it gets later some of the galleries further from main activity can get more of a party vibe, especially when there are food trucks around.

I think you'll be able to immediately size up each spot and it is easy enough to just keep walking to the next place on your list.
