I've been looking for a full-time position since moving here with my husband due to his new job. I haven't been successful finding one so I would like to try staffing agencies. I have experience in Accounting and would like to stay in that field if possible. Besides Robert Half, are there any local companies worth contacting?

Thank you for your help!

My company uses Greene Resources. They are a good organization.

Frankel staffing is very good (Raleigh-Durham Staffing & Recruitment). Also, I'd recommend going to job networking groups and network with people to try and get a lead. A fairly large group that meets is the Colonial Job Seekers group. Here you can find info on a bunch of different job networking groups at: https://sites.google.com/site/raleig...nalnetworking/

Good Luck.

Call Mimi Shankin at Avant-919 361 2056, mshankin@avant.jobs

Not only is she excellent at staffing, she is a standup/improv comedian
who performs in local clubs.

I'm in finance myself, and I've had tremendous success with VACO Raleigh LLC. They landed me 2 different contracts in 1 year. I was also brand new to the area. Good Luck. I'm currently unemployed as well again as my contract ended. It's a tough market right now. I'm not kidding when I say in the last two weeks I had 9.....count them....9 interviews (was interviewed by 9 different people) with one CRO company for a finance job....only to be finally turned down. Would I go back to where I came from....no way....there are more solid companies and much better economy in RTP.....so something's bound to turn up.
