What's wrong with this HT? Are there really many differences between the stores?

For one thing, they must only restock once a week because they're always out of everything.

If by urban, they mean like the 2 story North Hills Harris Teeter, then that's not good. The HT at North Hills seems like the same size as the one story ones, just split between two levels. As a shopper, I find it more claustraphobic and annoying to have to travel between floors using the elevator.

There is a new webpage now that has updated information:
Parkside Town Commons | Portfolio | Kite Realty

Lists the planned opening in Spring 2014. Seems possible looking at the construction pace - crews were working this Saturday. The map shows location of the Target, Harris Teeter, Franks, etc.

My parents go there (they live in Carolina Preserve) and they HATE it. Same complaint - they never have anything.

I'm pretty sure the Spring 2014 date is only for Phase 1 which is the Target/Harris Teeter side. Based on when I drove by there a few days ago, that seems to be the side they're working on right now as well.

No idea on actual restaurants, but somewhere in West Cary/Morrisville there is room for an Outback. It would be a license to print money. Unfortunately they have a requirement of like $3 million in net worth to get a franchise or I'd do it.

Things are really moving now at the future site of Parkside Town Commons. I was driving down O'Kelly Chapel toward 55 and barely recognized where I was when I hit upon arrival. They are adding several lanes to O'Kelly and 55 to accommodate the increased traffic. The last I read, Target should be opening up 3/2014, which isn't too far off. I see that the building is up and per the Kite Realty website, the interior work has begun on the first phase of tenants. I'm assuming the Target will not have a grocery since a Harris Teeter will be right there. What do y'all think?

Also, does anyone know if O'Kelly Chapel will turn into Little drive or if it strictly intersect w/ Louis Stephens Drive? Will this be done by the time the Target/HT are up and running?
