I need some help brainstorming... I am trying to put together a list of Triangle Celebrities either from the Triangle or reside in the Triangle. Your help will be immensely appreciated. I am looking mainly at comedians, musicians, and TV personalities but beggars cannot be choosers.

Zach Galifinakis is really from Wilkes Co, not the Triangle.

Any number of sports celebs have called the Triangle home. Lots of musicians, too. George Clinton (born in Kannapolis) and Parliament/Funkadelic with Maceo Parker (born in Kinston) are coming to UNC's Memorial Hall as part of the Carolina Performing Arts Series this fall. Branford Marsalis lives in Durham although he grew up in New Orleans.
