newsobserver.com | 2 charged in break-ins (http://www.newsobserver.com/news/wake/cary/story/1089992.html - broken link)
Perhaps these are the guys responsible for the break-ins in Park Village? Glad they are off the streets. 119, Kindred Way is really close to where i live. Scary!

Hello!
Any info would be helpful, the link didn't work.
I don't know of the Park Village break ins, but anyone who has read the police blotter lately and keeps their car GPS unit in plain site while parked is just asking for it!!!!
well, this could explain the lengthy police blotters of late, 2 guys on a spree in Cary causes quite a stir!
Please share any info on the Park Village break ins. I haven't seen anything in the paper, and haven't heard anything of it even though I am in that neighborhood. There are 600 houses here, many flip on a frequent basis, and I'm afraid the majority of us live in relative cluelessness as to what our neighbors are up to.

Cary isn't a town... it has over 100,000 people and has more of a city status.. Crime exists everywhere. Everybody needs to be careful at all times...
Despite the size, it is officially the Town of Cary.
Crimes of opportunity like breaking into a parked car because you see an iPod or walk into an open garage at night and steal tools or a bike, while annoying to the owner, aren't really all that scary. The convenience store robbery is pretty scary (although I think a lot of criminals realize the clerks are instructed to cooperate).
Amen!! I wouldn't expect any less from the local police.
